The Human Side of Entrepreneurship
A monthly gathering of entrepreneurs from across Cherokee County who desire to candidly explore, discuss, and solve the challenges of starting and running one’s own business from the human perspective. The forum is a non-competitive and non-threatening event where mutual respect and lack of judgment are top priorities. Here, we strive to remember that we are humans first, business owners second.
There will be a dedicated speaker and topic each month followed by open discussion and networking. All business owners are welcome and encouraged to attend, participate, and even to lead discussions to edify one another to better navigate the impact that running your own business can have on topics like:
- Family Life
- Work / Life Balance
- Stress & General Health
- Mental Health
- And More…
What this ISN’T
- A place to hand out business cards
- A high-pressure business or networking environment
- A place where you must “sell” anything about yourself, who you are, what you do, etc.
We are taking the month of June OFF. Please check back for July’s presenter soon.
Obviously we have had to change to format of our montly forum due to Coronavirus/COVID-19…but the meeting will go on!

Normally we meet at Reformation Brewery in downtown Woodstock. Reformation Brewery’s core values make it the perfect place in the community where all humans can be heard, valued and accepted. As of right now all of Reformation’s tap rooms are closed. Our thoughts are with them and all small businessses that have been impacted by Coronavirus/COVID-19 and we can’t wait for the day when we can all get back to business as usual!
To provide a forum to explore and discuss entrepreneurship and the effects on the humans who have chosen to start and run their own business. To provide an ongoing opportunity to connect as business owners and peers in Cherokee County.
To foster a community where business owners can come together to recharge and to edify and empower one another as fellow human beings.
